Was User at La Licata a mag?
We came here for breakfast before an early tour at the colosseum. First, there were definitely regulars coming in and grabbing espresso and a pastry. Second, the server was knowledgeable about vegan and made sure we didn’t have anything non-vegan in our order. Third, the food was fantastic and filling. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about La Licata:
Went there for breakfast on 8th Jan 2022. They had only one choice for a vegan cornetto (empty, with seeds.pastry was good and tasty) and a carrot cake. There were pancakes available for a vegetarian breakfast. A lot of veg milks available for cappuccino, they had almond oat coconut and soy,no rice that day. It would be nicer to find at least a jam filled cornetto, not just the sad empty one. View all feedback.
Visited here tonight amazing food! And really lovely staff. Well worth a visit for not only good food but if you want something different in Rome
We were looking for something different to the normal Italian food and came across this place. We ordered the spring rolls, wontons, dumplings and fried rice. It was all delicious and very cheap! The staff are friendly and quick with service. The only things I would fault were that the wontons had practically no pork in them. Where I’m from, they use a lot more than this. Not sure if it’s just due to how different countries make it, or if they were being frugal on pork portioning. Also, I really wanted sushi, but was advised I couldn’t order this as the sushi chef wasn’t in yet. Good place to stop for a cheap, yummy and fulling meal though!
Great selection of food for its price. Where I’m from, were used to larger portions, therefore we ended up ordering twice because we weren’t full. It’s not a bad thing at all infant I think it’s better this way that way you don’t overeat! They have lamb and seafood, which was something we were looking for. Their fried rice was our favourite! Would go here if you’re in the area and looking for some Chinese food!
