We visited on a Saturday evening in juli, a walk-up for 3 persons at 7.20 without reservation. they pressed us, needed the table back at 9 what was good. some other parties later appeared and could not enter; they could see that this place is popular. the menu was impressive meaty (beefy) american black angus, australian wagyu, Japanese cuts all available along with many different “keywords”, rindfleischburger, even three types of bark tataki. two of us had the housefilet steak, that was just great. chargrilled medium to perfection, very light pink inside, some fresh lemon to push over the steak and chips beautifully. the third had a heavy (big spits) of beer-marinated bark, similarly good. delicious spinach with parmesan went well. a very good bottle chianti reserva to round it off. service was friendly, good English to save us our blows on our risible italian.

The staff and service are very slow. 10 minutes of waiting for 1 beer is not ok. Dirty dishes were rarely served back and after a reminder, but ... the beef is great and this is completely compensated the kind and smiling,...but obviously unprofessional staff. I will return for sure on my next stay in Rome.
