He screamed me in front of many other customers when I ask for our pizza's order 45 minutes later.

We arrived from our flights from the US in need of some real food. We were told at the front desk of Hotel Fleming that restaurants weren’t open until 7. It was... read more We arrived from our flights from the US in need of some real food. We were told at the front desk of Hotel Fleming that restaurants weren’t open until 7. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and we knew we needed food before then. We stumbled upon this place just thinking we could get a pastry at the very least. Well, Silvio, took care of us. We had a lovely steak, salad and buffalo mozzarella dinner. We ended up have an enjoyable few hours there talking with Silvio and the others who came in for food. It seems that he does get a lot of tourists from the hotel, as well as the bus drivers and also locals. After my tour the next night, I knew I could grab something for dinner and got a wonderful salami cheese panini. I also got a chocolate croissant for breakfast the next morning. I know many from our group visited him and were just as pleased. He has a large variety of food and drink offerings. Silvio speaks Spanish as well as a bit of English.

We ordered the pizza based off his request and it was very good. We also tried a few of his deserts and the chocolate donut was out of this world! Great place and great owner! Would highly recommend!

The proprietor was talking to a customer and didn't greet me, and I didn't want to interrupt.... read more I walked in to check if they had ice cream in the freezer section. The proprietor was talking to a customer and didn't greet me, and I didn't want to interrupt. I went to check myself. As I walked back, he exclaimed in Spanish that I was rude because when you enter a place you are supposed to say hello. He himself hadn't bothered, and he worked there! Then he went on to give a long lecture on rudeness. We continued on in Spanish, he asked me where I was from, I answered that I was from the US, and he was surprised, saying he had always thought Americans were polite up to now. This was an Italian who chooses to lecture people in Spanish on how to act. The experience beggared belief. Besides that, the bar stinks horribly of a closed in, dingy lack of airing out, and the floors were filthy.
