I had planned to visit many bars in Rome for our morning cappuccino and breakfast, but after visiting Bar Farnese on our first day we just wanted to keep return... read more I had planned to visit many bars in Rome for our morning cappuccino and breakfast, but after visiting Bar Farnese on our first day we just wanted to keep returning there. The attentive and hard working older baristas were so kind, remembering what the customers typically ordered, and gave such professional service. The coffee was excellent, and I enjoyed either the maritozzo or brioche every morning. Almost all of the the customers are local Romans. There is seating inside as well as 3 tables outside. We were in Rome for 2 weeks and enjoyed the morning ritual of breakfast at this old school bar with very affordable prices (5 euros for both of us every day).
