For a Monday morning, I found the staff smiling and making me coffee. It was frothy, just the way I wanted it, and the snowflake was very fresh. And I saw several truly inviting breakfast dishes being served.
The bill quickly rises. You pay for the view of Palazzo Farnese. The croissants are good, and the menu items are also exquisite. The staff lacks warmth. The place is small.
Very cute little slice of life cafe. Extraordinarily nice service by the two men that many have mentioned. Quite close to piazza novena and a great surrounding neighborhood
All the people who work are very good, kind and friendly in the music and food very very good!!!!
I had planned to visit many bars in Rome for our morning cappuccino and breakfast, but after visiting Bar Farnese on our first day we just wanted to keep returning there. The attentive and hard working older baristas were so kind, remembering what the customers typically ordered, and gave such professional service. The coffee was excellent, and I enjoyed either the maritozzo or brioche every morning. Almost all of the the customers are local Romans. There is seating inside as well as 3 tables outside. We were in Rome for 2 weeks and enjoyed the morning ritual of breakfast at this old school bar with very affordable prices (5 euros for both of us every day).
