We were c... read more A really nice little café where we went for the sweet pastry and coffee breakfast because my wife cannot have milk and they advertised vegan pastries. We were confused because we didn't know whether to pay at the top and then order, or order at the counter and then pay at the till. Also nothing was labelled but when the man in charge saw us hovering confused for some time, he took our order and explained in perfect English that there were two types of vegan pastries. My wife enjoyed hers with reasons while I had a homemade croissant with sugary filling, we like our regular and soya cappuccinos. We will definitely go back and have a drink in the evening as we liked the atmosphere in the small bar once we stopped being confused. When we went to pay at the end the lady remembered exactly what we had, even though they had many customers and I think we should have paid first. PS it looks like they had sold out of croissants and had a much smaller selection than earlier but if we waited 5 minutes then a lot of fresh pastries came out of the kitchen, of different types.
