Came across this place, down a little street, off the main drag. Sun was shining and I sat across the street, looking at this picturesque bar. It was happy hour... read more Came across this place, down a little street, off the main drag. Sun was shining and I sat across the street, looking at this picturesque bar. It was happy hour, around 4.30pm and there were a few people taking advantage of the value cocktails. The lady in charge was so friendly, the whole experience was a pleasure. I needed a snack and chose the Lasagna and a glass of Red. The Lasagna was a bit tough and chewy around the edges and there was nothing with it, but I guess that was reflected in the price. It was no frills food, but I enjoyed it anyway. It's 5 circles for the ambience and the service.

We ‘nipped’ in for a quick drink on the first night, stayed all night and returned every night of our trip. A small family owned bar with a great atmosphere, great food, and a huge selection of drinks and cocktails (be careful they are very generous with the measures! Natalia and Alessandro were the perfect hosts, made us feel like family. We met some amazing friends, both tourists and the lovely locals. This place will be the first point of call when we return as soon as we can xx

We had time to tour... read more We arrived at this bar a bit by chance at the start of our trip to Rome and we appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the waiters. We had time to tour Rome and Florence and our assessment is undoubtedly: HERE is the best bar in Rome (very good music, great drinks, pleasant terrace sheltered from traffic, affordable price Don't waste your time in tourist bars, come here, it's the real Rome!!!

Stopped by for a drink on the way to the hotel and ended up staying way longer than we were planning to. One drink became two and the three and kept going! The drinks were delicious and all fruit drinks were made using fresh fruits. From passion fruit to peaches and anything in between. We were seated on a cozy terrace across the street from the bar which offered just the right amount of privacy, while still being in the action. Will return!
