At least 50% of the time I 've tried to walk in off the street and have a cocktail with someone we have been met with inexplicable 'sorry but we haven 't any tables ' despite free tables in full view at 9pm. The general exclusive type of behaviour is irritating and one sometimes wonders if there is a business policy that is in play? Unpleasant experiences of this general kind have tainted the place for me. Last night was the umpteenth refusal.
