23.50 EUR for: 1 pasta : spaghetti vongole 1 side vegetable dish: peperoni arrost 1 appetizer: bruschetta gorgonzola/miele 2 small draft beers Sunday lunch time, stopping by while on the go. Welcome by useless young waitress who refuses to even listen to us or take the order unless you seat first upstairs. Quite rude and not a good start. Fortunately upstairs we find another young male waiter on a total different level of consciousness who very effectively and kindly understands our wishes and executes right away. Several minutes later the useless pops up again asking for our order. Too late for her. Later on : she is buzzing around so we ask for another draft beer but this time in a glass NOT handled (I hate thick mugs). The waitress goes bananas until she is rescued by the male colleague who promptly provides a simple tulip glass. Conclusions: 1. price is in the average, 2. food is good, 3. service is good but you better avoid the female waitpersons.
A few different people told me about this restaurant, which is located in a sports center. I went with a group of relatives and was very happy with everything! Fabio was the best host and made sure we were well taken care of. Everything on the menu was great! Antipasto, primi and secondi were all good. Someone ordered the homemade potato chips, they were awesome! They got passed around and we ended up ordering seconds! I ordered the pasta ammaticiana which had crunchy bacon bits on top which were freaking delicious! The focaccia was good and many people were eating pizzas. I was stuffed but someone recommend the home made chocolate cake and I am glad I went for it and it came out hot and yummy! I highly recommend for dinner or pizza! Thank you Fabio for a great evening!
Were invited by my brother-in-law to join them for dinner in restaurant Dapiè. Since he had to celebrate something he made beforehand arrangements for a 8 course dinner. With a group of 9 people we visited the place (near a sport club) which was not busy at all. The kitchen prepared excellent food, not only for us but for 1 vegetarian guest as well. Creative presentation of the plates. Restaurant deserves more customers! Easy cosy service, always with a smile!
De Pie Restaurant, Centro Sportivo, Casal Palocca, Rome You’ll find the restaurant across the car park at the back of the Centro Sportivo (Polisportiva) on the Via di Casal Palocco. Easy to find, but unless you live within easy walking distance, you’ll need a car to get there. It was warm and pleasant high 20s degC as evening shifted into night, and the soft music at the entrance to the restaurant on the terrace to one side of the swimming pool offered promise for the pleasures of a table shared with friends. The low pitched bass complemented the melody of the guitar in a selection of easy listening favourites – great mood music. Shift the musical duo further into the restaurant and provide a convenient space (and quiet lighting) and you’d have the basis for a captive dance floor dining and dancing, what more could you ask for in a romantic setting of this kind. But, dancing wasn’t on offer tonight. Ours were three couples in ‘catching up’ mood – not unusual for those who share the uncertainties and disruption that come from travelling, working and/or living in different parts of the world. Evenings and tables such as this are to be appreciated for the delight of re acquaintance and memories. We’d pre booked the table – important too, given that the restaurant was close to full for most of the evening. Service was friendly and prompt; enter the restaurant, provide a name and the table was just a few metres away. Our group arrived within five minutes of each other. For mains we chose a handful of favourite sea foods – sea bass fillet/herb gratin spinach (3), spaghetti/vongole, pasta/vongole/gamberi tomatoes, and 4 formaggi pizza. Whilst the mains were in hand, we shared four bruschette (tomatoes basilica). Food was complemented with litre house red (Cabonet) and water – frizzante normale. To complete the meal, three panna cotta type dolce were shared for that contrasting sweet taste, and coffee. The bill was €122 sea bass €16, paste €12 €13 and pizza €7. Wine cost €8/L. So, about €40/couple for the table; good value given presentation and the quality of the food, prompt service, the ambiance of the restaurant and, importantly, shared friendships that continue. It would be pleasing to do much the same ‘this time next year’, but you can’t always plan this kind of table too far into the future. 23 July 2017
I have eaten here many times the food is all great, the cozze are out of this world and the spigola in crosta di zucchine is another favourite! Very friendly staff! The stmosphere can get a little loud with a lot of children. As the restaurant is located in sports center this is normal that teams come here to eat a pizza all together. In the summer the outside seating is pleasant and many more tables available in the summertime.
