There was a man with a hand tattoo that were mai... read more We had a horrific new year’s eve experience. On a special night like that, you expect the staff to not be rude. There was a man with a hand tattoo that were mainly the issue. Seemingly, he was the manager. List of things that went wrong: • They gave us a table close to the entrance where it was cold. Right besides a fire extinguisher with tons of cords etc. When we asked for a table change we were met by a threat, either accept this table or leave. • We ordered the champagne menu. They missed it and didn’t want to offer us the ”package” which had a 5 euro difference. I showed proof that we ordered said package and the waiter replied ”I don’t know”. After 10 minutes of discussion the champagne was brought to us. They just simply put the bottle of champagne on the table, no ice bucket or anything. • They gave us the wrong food twice. Didn’t even apologize. • We didn’t get the food at the same time. • We heard other people sitting outside complaining that it was cold and the heat lamps were not working. • Mens bathroom had no lock. You just had to hope someone didn’t try to enter. • As a vegetarian they gave me the fish dish but without the fish. It was terribly weird. • Overall extremely poor service attitude in general. Only one person could speak English. Very rude and didn’t care about anything. You could see the staff was fighting with eachother the whole evening.

The chef exceeded our expectations both with the Roman standards the amatriciana and burrata were excellent and the fish (amberjack) and seafood plates (octopus salad). The atmosphere, like the food, is refined yet welcoming.
