We stopped here for an early afternoon snack while wandering around Rome and seemed to be the only non-locals. We ordered the fried mozzarella, the prosciutto with melon, a beer and a prosecco. Both the mozzarella and melon were beautifully presented and delicious. Service was pleasant and at the usual Roman pace. We sat outside, which was very nice. Likewise the restaurant interior looks lovely. So happy we happened... View all feedback.
What ThaiFan doesn't like about Archimede:
Terrible service, treated with contempt by the waiters. We were three ladies having lunch but we were very low down their priority list. Despite being near The Pantheon they obviously don’t like tourists! Their good service was obviously reserved for the Italian diners. View all feedback.
The best of the best. for years I go, my favorite dishes are fries, especially mozzarella and zucchini and many first ones including both spaghetti aastice and the classic carbonara. good selection of wines.
Although I lived for many years in Rome I did not know this place where to get the typical Roman cuisine. is located a stone's throw from the pantheon and close to the historic roasting of sant'eustachio. excellent and absolutely try is the fried archimede, I also took a carbonara of all respect. great service. I'll definitely come back and recommend it.
