I made Christmas reservations and was sent the menu in advance, on Instagram, which included pizza. I specifically asked if their regular menu was available for Christmas and they said yes. When we arrived we tried to order wine but unfortunately they had crazy markups on cheap, terrible wine a $4 bottle of “Loggia Poste” in a wicker basket going for 18 euros. The waiters were trying to tell us it was good wine! Then we tried to order pizza and was told sorry, no pizza tonight. Moments later, we watched a pizza be served to another table. I asked about it and was told they made an exception for this table but there was no real explanation for why they did that. Between that and the wine we were ready to just leave. We ate our suppli and bruschetta appetizers and thank goodness we left, the suppli was totally dry and tasteless, can’t imagine how our entrees would have been. It’s crazy a place in Rome would carry such cheap wine. This is a tourist trap place and I can’t believe the good reviews it has. Avoid at all costs!

Our server Andrew was exceptional, attending to our every request. He truly hustled. The food was amazing. Pizza!!! Focaccia!! Pasta dishes!! Meats and seafood!!! All amazing! Tremendous value. Would have given this 5 stars except for a very limited wine selection. We were a party of 8 and as such sat in a back room that unfortunately had a strong smell of sewage. This was likely caused by a temporary situation that most probably will not affect future dining as it appeared that management was in the process of dealing with the problem.
