I paid extra for premium entrees: firecracker shrimp and Angus steak, but I only received two tiny shrimp! The portion sizes were incredibly small! The food was disappointing and bland—none of it had any flavor. We ordered rice, noodles, egg rolls, and spring rolls, and everything was terrible. It was definitely not worth what we paid, especially after waiting over an hour for our order on Easter Sunday! I will not be returning! I would rather dine at a genuine Chinese restaurant like Dragon Bistro on Meecham in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
Additionally, he couldn’t process a refund because his disorganized cashier, Sarah, forgot to put the receipt in my bag, which is apparently standard procedure. Now, I'm stuck on the phone with corporate, providing the manager’s and cashier’s names so they can retrieve my receipt for a refund, and hopefully take steps to prevent this from happening again. Panda Express needs to improve. It was midday on a weekday, and they had only one entree available. Only one person was cooking, and he was making just one dish at a time. The rice was hard and dry, as if it had been left over from the night before, and the vegetables in the rice were undercooked – rice and veggies shouldn't be crunchy. The chow mein seemed to have more cabbage than noodles. The management and staff here clearly don’t know how to handle a lunch rush, and it shows. I strongly advise against visiting this location. Many other one-star reviews accurately reflect my experience. The person who took my order didn’t seem to want to be there, which raises the question: if you don’t want to serve customers, why stay in the job?
