Chipotle Mexican Grill
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Description
Spotlessly maintained and conveniently located, this fast-casual restaurant delivers fresh flavors and standout quesadillas but suffers from inconsistent execution. Diners report pleasant, even playful staff at times, yet recurring issues—undercooked rice, dry or burnt proteins, shrunken portions, shortages during dinner rush, missing utensils and brusque management—undermine the experience. It’s a convenient stop for a quick burrito bowl, but quality and service can be a gamble; steadier staffing and better stocking during peak hours would go a long way.

The restaurant offers fresh food and is very clean. All the staff were dressed in Halloween costumes as Mario characters today, and they were incredibly friendly! The location is fantastic, and the quesadillas are delicious.
I wanted to share my recent experience with the store manager, Gracie, at Chipotle. Yesterday, I picked up my lunch order and noticed that the chips I had ordered were missing when I got back to work. To resolve this issue, I called the restaurant to request a refund for the missing chips. I was surprised to learn that I needed to return to the restaurant in person to receive the refund, especially since it was for less than $6. I had no choice but to head back. When I arrived at the restaurant, I greeted the manager politely and reminded her of our phone conversation to jog her memory. However, I was met with a lack of sincerity and what seemed like irritation. Gracie insisted that it was against Chipotle's policy to issue a refund over the phone, even if she wanted to help. I acknowledged the policy but then asked if I could have my food remade, as it had become cold during my trips back and forth. Unfortunately, my request was dismissed immediately with the explanation that the food couldn’t be remade since it had already left the restaurant and I hadn't reported any issues with it at that moment. I explained that my concern was the cold temperature of the food, which made it unappetizing, particularly due to the inconvenience of having to return for a refund for chips I never received. Throughout our conversation, Gracie's tone felt somewhat aggressive, and she did not apologize for the inconvenience. I couldn't help but wonder if her attitude was influenced by my identity as a Black woman. It's important to note that I remained respectful during the entire interaction, keeping my voice calm and not displaying any negativity. In light of her rudeness, I asked for a refund and also the contact information of the store manager, only to be told, “I am the manager.” However, it's worth clarifying that she is an assistant manager, not the store manager. I believe there is a need for improved customer service training for the staff, particularly for Gracie, who could benefit from learning how to recognize and address microaggressions. Additionally, I want to emphasize that mistreating individuals based on perceived race is unacceptable. We never know who we may encounter in life, and it's vital to treat everyone with respect and fairness.
The manager was so rude, i found some pieces of the top part of the avocado in my guacamole, and she said ok and, I'm going to tell the preps. No, sorry, nothing. And the guy who served, wow inpatient and was our first time there we don't know how to order.
I love this location, food is always good . Soriana is also so hard working and polite ?
