This dining experience was delightful and well worth the short extra drive. Onward Store is definitely on our 'we’ll be back' list. My husband and I both ordered the fish with crawfish sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. Don’t let the brief drive discourage you—just play some great music and go for it! I *HIGHLY* recommend this place.
We stopped by this charming spot so the kids could use the restroom, and one of the ladies kindly offered us a sample of their strawberry shortcake jelly. It was incredible! We ended up buying it along with some peach jelly, which was also delicious. If it had been mealtime, we definitely would have stayed to eat—the menu looked fantastic, featuring hand-breaded chicken strips and more. This will definitely be a planned stop for us in the future!
A truly charming little spot! I didn't try the food, but I did pick up some of their delicious jams and jellies. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend stopping by to check it out!
