Sawadee Thai - Rolla

I recommend going. The service is usually very bad, but the pad thai is AMAZING. I went there yesterday for my birthday and they served us burned egg rolls. I told them that I ordered them for my 1 year old and there is no way he could chew through them, and she made a final comment about maybe I needed to order the spring rolls (I tried them, and I don't like them at all). She finally brought out real egg rolls, but never lost the bad posture all the time we were there. The food is 5 stars (except when they serve burned foods), the service is 1 star. I have to say there's a very nice server that works there if you're lucky when she works. I wish I remember her names.

I can't comment on authenticity, but I can say that food is part of the best food you find in Rolla. I have tried about ten different entrees and I am always impressed by the taste. The pad Thai is classic. The curries are a nice step change for me. I think my favorite is the Panang Curry. I always order Thai tea, which I highly recommend. It is very creamy and sweetened and more of a treat than a drink.

Wow! We just had the best Tai in Missouri in this little place. I had Larb and my husband Basil Fried Reis and we're still over the meal. The food is freshly prepared and the aromas are phenomenal. Our server Jason made the whole experience even better with his knowledge about the menu and recommendations. He went beyond and beyond to make us happy and happy. Thanks Jason!

Really nice curries, fair prices, in a very casual environment. Not much atmosphere, but the service is good and the food is excellent. Ingredients are fresh band of high quality. Like any place Missouri, if you want it objectively spicy, you need to ask for it, as the standard in this geography is a little bland... but, ask for it with medium spices, and they know what to do. I assume that those who would ask for Thai-Hot would also agree.

Great authentic thai food. Great atmosphere, and the service was great as well. Food is always delicious and always fresh ingredients. Can't recommend it enough. It's a bit of a healthier option than other restaurants in the area as well.
