Motomo - Rolla
Motomo
Description
Mottomo serves affordable, well-regarded sushi — especially the volcano and spicy crab rolls — with complimentary miso, sake and occasional matcha. Guests praise friendly, often quick service, clean interiors, accessible entrance and plentiful free parking, plus strong takeout options. However, experiences are mixed: some report understaffing, long waits, limited or missing menu items, lukewarm miso and occasional sticky tables, suggesting inconsistent operations despite solid food and value.

I've been eager to try this restaurant for quite some time, but my experience was quite disappointing. We waited an unreasonable length of time to be seated, and then we were left at our table for an equally long time while others stood waiting for seats, despite there being empty tables available. The place wasn't busy at all, which made it even more frustrating, so we decided to leave. I understand that they might have been understaffed, but there was a complete lack of communication; they didn't explain why the service was so slow. To add to the disappointment, the menu items I was looking forward to trying, like the jalapeño crab Rangoon and the rib dinner, were not even available. I might consider giving it another shot, but since we don't live nearby, it's a tough call. Overall, I’d rate the food as a 3, the service as a 1, and the atmosphere as a 3.

The customer service here was excellent. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible, with no stairs to navigate and ample space for wheelchair access. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $20 and $30. The food was outstanding, earning a 5/5 rating, as was the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the Crab Rangoon and Vegetable Tempura. It's also a fantastic option for vegetarians, as they offer a variety of vegetarian dishes. There is plenty of free parking available, making it very convenient.
