What Sean T dislikes about Y-inn:
The restaurant solely serves beer due to a lack of a full liquor license. The interior had a rather unpleasant odor, resembling that of a dumpster. I wouldn't opt to dine here, even in a life-or-death scenario. View all feedback.
Chicken dinner is very good. Along with coleslaw make a nice dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and the cost per person was between $10 and $20. The food was outstanding; I would give it a perfect 5. However, the service was only average, so I'd rate it a 3. The atmosphere also felt like a 3. I highly recommend trying the Fried Haddock, Jo-Jos, and the Fish.
I absolutely love this restaurant! My brother lives nearby, and I must say, the service is outstanding and the staff are wonderful. The food is incredibly delicious. They used to have a really cool t-shirt that said "I ate at the y," but I'm not sure if they still sell it since I haven’t been paying much attention lately. I used to drive up from Pittsburgh just to get those shirts, enjoy a few beers, and then return for dinner. The people here are fantastic. I definitely plan to come back soon to see if they still have those shirts; if not, I’ll be more than happy to enjoy another delicious meal. Everything—the service, food, and atmosphere—gets a flawless score of 5. Meal type: Dinner. Price range: $20–30 per person.
Not like the old days. Not open weekends. Decent food. Miss the smelts. Old bar living on life support.
