From April, new owner, but unfortunately.... .... No new competition for Greek specialties in the area of Bad Nenndorf. For us this visit was simply disappointing. Too bad, as we had promised more after the advertisement about the new owner. But probably only the owner is new and the kitchen Murks continues so far. We will no longer visit this place from the feedback found below and can therefore also not give a recommendation. In detail what bothered us and did not like: I found small bones in my gyros. The cook that came extra after my complaint meant that this could already happen. I haven't seen anything like that yet. Recommendation: Buy better meat and not save on quality. To the bones in Gyros, I also objected to the very small portion, in comparison to the other Greek restaurants known to me. After dinner, the plates were simply not cleared until paying. The overpriced wine “Mavrodaphne” also came to the small portions, again in comparison with our well-known competitors. Last but not least, the ambience has remained unchanged due to the change of owner and has thus not received any enrichment (welcome atmosphere). In short and well we were not satisfied with the dishes we served and cannot recommend the Greek restaurant “Aphrodite” in Rodenberg, after this visit.

.... for us, is the “Berger Kebab House”, a culinary enrichment for Rodenberg and the surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised when we had tried out on the basis of a recommendation that the newly opened “Berger Kebab House” which was located opposite the former Hotel Stockholm in Rodenberg. The outdoor inconspicuous snack for the small and great hunger, has a very clean, bright and appealing space, with a simple but sufficient interior and exterior seating. A kebab house where you feel comfortable immediately, which also applies to cleanliness and order behind the sales strike. The snack was clearly visible, and before the opening it was expensively refurbished according to the purpose, which also applies to the toilets present there. There's nothing to complain about. We were at our first visit, around approx. 14:00 there and had to wait almost 10 minutes before we were served. But in order to take it right away, the path from Bad Nenndorf to Rodenberg and the waiting for the delicious Turkish specialties have been rewarded. The head of the snack, made a professional impression and, as we have experienced, worked in the restaurant area for over 30 years. The selection of dishes, with over 20 different diner specialities, pasta and vegetarian dishes, is already enormous. In addition, approx. 15 different Turkish pizzas, various grilled dishes, pasta and burgers, as well as several supplements and salads. I chose one of the most famous dishes of Turkish cuisine, the Döner in a dough bag for € 5 and my wife had chosen the Turkish pizza “Lahmacun” (only with salad) for € 3.50. Both dishes, were freshly prepared in front of our eyes and tasted so delicious, so that we will certainly come back soon. In summary, we found that we did not regret to visit the “Berger Kebab House” and can recommend it to 100% for all friends of Turkish specialties. In particular, due to the very good price performance ratio and hereby confirm the slogan of the “KEBAB House”; “Nice, warm, tasty and easy to use.” Note: This review is based on a snapshot, compared to our well-known fast food restaurants and we hope that the existing quality of food will continue in the future. Ps. We rejoice over the variety of food options here in Germany and again and again, also about a delicious Kebak speciality.
