There are two Tim Horton's in Chestermere, one is full service and the other is just for quick items like drinks and donuts. The full service has a fast drive thru with a high rate of accuracy. No complaints. The other location is located is across the street at the Petro gas station. You can go inside or drive to the back for Drive thru service. If you just want drinks this location is really fast, my only complaint... View all feedback.
What Solodam J doesn't like about Tim Hortons:
It was very warm day and also a lot of smoke from the wild fire in North Alberta. As we didn't have so much time, we tried the drive thru (never did it before) and it was fun. Good and quick service for the creamy chills. View all feedback.
Did someone said Rude? Totally agree with that! The staff doesn't seem to get along at all. They throw food back in the bowls they have to take it from when had it on a sub. They put your soup in a bowl, next let it sit there for a 15 min before you even have to ask or you can get it. Then they are RUDE to the roots or you don't want the bread that comes with it, next you get only a cut off little piece of bread. Then they start cleaning and smoke you out of the place. Like SERIOUSLY!?? when you can't clean without creating so much smoke you better clean when closed. You don't know what health conditions customers are dealing with to do this to them. The way you treat your customers is just NOT ok. When you can't get along then it's NOT the customers problem. You totally forget how you even have a job.
They are just flat out rude here. Why they put that miserable old lady at the drive through all the time I do not know. Food is mediocre at best and that’s assuming they don’t screw up your order.
Few times in the past i told myself that it was my last visit to this TH. Service is poor, donuts or timbits or wraps not available, no toilet paper in stalls! never a full cup of coffee, yet i wanted to promote local business so I gave another shot today. Well not anymore. Today got my coffee at the Chestermere location and noticed that the cup was only 3/4 full. On occasions I use my reusable Contigo mug that is exactly the same size as medium size cup at TH. Well today i only got half a mug of coffee and when i asked the attendant at the window about it she says it was medium size and would not add more coffee to my mug. Needless to say I will not be visiting this TH anymore. Paid for medium go small. No Deal!
So… I’ve never written a review ever about a restaurant but here I am taking the time to write one cause I have never experienced such bad service on two occasions from the same woman at Tim Hortons. I’m told that she is the owner of both the gas station Tim Hortons and the one across the street in Chestermere. Incident #1: Occurred in April 2023 at the Gas station location. I drove up to the window and simply ordered an extra large coffee with 3 milk please. This manager didn’t understand me and repeated “Large Coffee with 3 milk”. I corrected her and said extra large with 3 milk”. She repeated back “Large coffee with 3 milk?” This exchange went back and fourth 6 times and she eventually told me to drive up. I got to the window and tapped my card and she handed me a Large coffee, not extra large as I had asked for 6 times. When I told her I wanted an extra large she had the nerve to say in a rude manner “You said large!” I couldn’t believe it. Even my friend who was on speaker phone said allowed “OMG! He told you like a hundred times! Anyways, she then instructed her employee to refund my card and then charge me for an extra large and acted like I was trying to steal 30 cents worth of coffee from her. What a waste of time… seriously. Incident number #2. Occurred across the street from the gas station in Chestermere. This time I went and order my usual “Extra Large coffee with 3 milk”. The person said, “Extra Large coffee with 1 cream?” I said no and repeated my order. She again said 1 cream? I said “No. 3 milk!” Again she said 1 cream? I repeated myself and then she said 1 sweetener? This exchange went on 7 times! I even spelled it out for her M-I-L-k. Milk!! She told me to drive up to the window. When I got to the window I was surprised to see the same woman as incident #1. She was just staring at me with an expression that said “What do want??” I said, Extra Large Coffee 3 milk. She then says in a rude manner, “You can’t order here you need to go order in the drive thru”. My patience was running thin and her attitude didn’t help. I thought I must be on video and this is all a big joke but sadly it wasn’t. She is legit the most incompetent manager/owner that Tim Hortons has ever seen. Ridiculous. If this woman is a manager she should be fired. If she is an owner, she should be fined by the Tim Hortons franchise.
The Boston crème must have been 3 days old. Won’t go there again The Apple fritter was really fresh but unfortunately I ordered a Boston ceme
