What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
We decided to grab a bite to eat at this restaurant, and were disappointed by the mediocre service. The waffle we ordered was slightly undercooked, but the chocolate topping was delicious. The chicken in a cheese hash-brown bowl was tasty and fresh, although the hash-brown itself had a strange texture. What I ordered was a bacon grilled cheese. Bacon well done. What I got was two pieces of toast with normally cooked bacon and unmelted cheese. Same ingredients done completely wrong. I get two stars instead of one because the hash browns were on point at least.
My family and I were hoping to have lunch, and noticed it wasn’t busy . After walking in, none of the staff said Hello, and simply stated that most of their seating is blocked off, we asked of the seating on the side and they stated that is also not a option, they didn’t even try to accommodate us. 3 hungry children and a elderly woman, we decided to leave. Very in welcoming and no sense of urgency. Will ensure that I keep note of this establishment when I’m in town again to not bother stopping due to the unpleasant staff.
Walked in at 1:30pm . No acknowledgement when we entered , every seat not blocked off was occupied or the table was full of dirty dishes. We sat down expecting someone to clean the table and serve us . That DID NOT HAPPEN !!! The next customers coming in cleaned their own table . 2 cooks and 2 servers . Everything about this place is unacceptable !!! Needs new crew , New management , new district manager and all .
I have a soft spot for WH and this was the worst. I get that the supply chain is messed up but not having chili or gravy surprised they heck out of me. The real reason for my review though is the seating. The roped off half the restaurant so it’s not possible to distance yourself from others. I don’t recommend this location
They were the only restaurant open at 4 o'clock due to Covid-19 restrictions, but they did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Although you had to wait for the chef, it was a good stop on the way to Georgia.
