The staff was friendly. Most of the food was good except for the Brunswick Stew. The potatoes in the stew were not done and it did not look like or taste like traditional Brunswick Stew. The Chicken Dumplings cabbage tasted amazing. The sweet tea was okay but a bit too sweet for me. View all feedback.

Sour employees. Couldn?t get my order right when I asked if my order could be corrected I was told I had to order at the speaker again or go n the restaurant. Went in the restaurant one of the employees stood behind the wall making ignorant remarks and laughing about my issue instead of fixing the problem. The employees need to learn how to conduct business, the disrespect was at an all time high. View all feedback.
I love the veggie plates, and the skin is very tasteful. You have turkey barbecue as an alternative if you do not eat pork, and you can get baked chicken if you can not eat fried anymore.
I traveled out of town for two days this week, and my friend kept raving about a restaurant she loved in Rocky Mount, NC. I decided to look it up on Google, and voilà! We discovered Gardner's Restaurant. The food was delicious and well-seasoned, and the staff was incredibly friendly. If you're heading toward Raleigh or the nearby areas, you definitely won't be disappointed!
The food was served hot, but it took a little while to arrive, and my order was incorrect. However, it was quickly rectified.
We had a fantastic dining experience! The food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The crab, potato salad, fried chicken, and pork were perfect representations of North Carolina cuisine. We were so glad we stopped here on our way back to Washington State. And oh, the sweet tea was the best we've ever had!
The food is seasoned?not too salty. They have a variety of veggies and meats for all types of eaters. I throughly enjoy their baked chicken and collard greens. I can eat from there every single day.
