Contribute FeedbackValentine's Day at Casa Mia was a disappointment, from long waits to wrong orders and poor service. Some guests even left before getting their meals. However, the food was delicious, although a bit salty. The restaurant was understaffed and disorganized, resulting in slow service. While the staff was courteous, there were issues with attentiveness. Overall, Casa Mia offers reasonable prices for good food, but improvements are needed in terms of customer service and efficiency. Some patrons had positive experiences with attentive wait staff and phenomenal dishes, but inconsistency in service and food quality left others underwhelmed.
The food at this restaurant was amazing! Each course was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. One suggestion I have is to consider adjusting the portion sizes for family-style dining on Mother's Day based on the number of people at the table, as there was a lot of wasted food. There was far too much food for the three people in our party, and we were not allowed to take the leftovers home, even though it was just the remainder of what we initially ordered. Despite this, the server was excellent and the food was truly outstanding.
The highlight of our dining experience was our server, who was exceptional. However, aside from that, the rest of our meal left much to be desired. We came for a Mother's Day prix fixe 4-course meal and had one of the first reservations. Although we were seated fairly quickly at a table for 3, there were significant delays in receiving our courses. After waiting for our second course for an extended period of time, we were told that it would not be served until the restaurant had finished collecting plates from the first course. When our second course finally arrived, it was cold. The entrée followed about 45-50 minutes later, also cold. Despite being seated for almost 2 hours, we were only halfway through the meal. When I requested a box to take the remaining food home, I was informed that it was against the restaurant's policy. When I questioned this, I received a dismissive response indicating that leftover food is given to the staff and then potentially to the homeless. This response was unsatisfactory and unsettling. The quality of the food was below average and overall our experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
The service was fantastic and the food was even better. The best part is that you can stay afterwards and dance off your meal! I absolutely love this place!
