Treasure Box - Rocky Harbour

We popped in for a quick bite to eat and discovered the delicious fish cakes. Happy and helpful service with a gift shop attached which included some homemade local products.

Lovely location in Rocky Harbour with a shop full of trinkets. Breakfast of poached eggs ordered as soft came firm, sausages hard and tasteless and hash brown paper thin cardboard. Coffee and service ok.

We ate at the Treasure Box twice during our four night stay in Rocky Harbour. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the very reasonable prices of items on the menu. Everything is home-cooked and most items we found to be delicious. A particular highlight was the turkey soup. another was the chicken Caesar wrap. We enjoyed the food so much that we placed a lunch order for pickup the following morning before hiking Gros Morne mountain. We highly recommend this restaurant!

A simple restaurant with a limited menu, with several authentic Newfoundland dishes. I enjoyed the cod au gratin with roll and a Caesar salad. My wife had a good moose burger, but found the partridgeberry crepe a huge disappointment. Avoid the crepes.
