Java Jack's was already closed, but I... read more After a late dinner out, we returned to our cabin and found that the coffee maker only had lousy convenience store coffee. Java Jack's was already closed, but I was able to speak to the staff through the screen door and they kindly sold me a pound of ground dark roast. It turned out to be the best coffee and lasted us the rest of the trip. We visited Java Jack's five more times during our stay and loved each visit. The coffee, tea, and baked goods were all delicious. Be sure to check out the artwork as well.

Cod tongues and Mussels in a pesto sauce to start, and the lobster linguine and rabbit pot pie for our mains. Everything was fresh, and cooked perfectly!! Thank you Java Jacks for putting the perfect ending on a great day.

It... read more My dining experience at Java Jacks restaurant in Ricky Harbour was fantastic. The service was warm and welcoming, and the home-style dinners were delicious. It quickly became one of my favorite spots in the area. I highly recommend it to anyone touring in Gros Morne. Additionally, they offer take-away lunches for your hikes.

They did have a lot of different options, and the server was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. I had the lobster pasta which was very good.
