Tried their snow crab special in the mild King's Crab sauce (a mixture of all the seasonings). It came with a crab cluster, some very large shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn for $25. The mild was quite spicy, so I wouldn't recommend choosing any higher than mild. Everything was delicious and the sauce was plentiful. I'm glad that there is finally a good seafood in Rockwall and I will be back. I will say that next t... View all feedback.
What Felicia Stewart doesn't like about King's Crab Shack:
The service was horrible. They had a house door bell turned to the side to ring inorder for you to get service. (First warning) No greeting just, how can I help you. While we waited on our order there was no communication. When he finally handed me my food he didn't say anything. I wasn't sure if I should wait for additional bag or what was going on. Turned out, I had everything. THE FOOD was nasty, we ordered catfis... View all feedback.
This restaurant rarely adheres to its posted hours, which is quite frustrating. The service is disappointing as well. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. I strongly advise people to avoid this place and seek seafood elsewhere.
Absolutely delicious food! I tried the blue soft shell po' boy, and it was fantastic. The dish is seasoned with Creole spices, so be prepared for a bit of heat. If you haven't dined here yet, you're truly missing out—it's far superior to those big chain restaurants. Plus, the atmosphere is really enjoyable!
I discovered this hidden gem while exploring Rockwall, and it truly feels like a secret spot. The service was fantastic! The fresh oysters were amazing, the catfish was delicious, the lobster po' boy was delightful, and the crawfish was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning soon!
The food is incredibly delicious and reasonably priced! The snow crab and potatoes, seasoned to perfection, are a must-try!
I'll just say that out of the three times we've visited this restaurant, we've felt unwelcome. On our third and final visit, they even tried to charge us for extra ketchup, which is commonly known as a CODB (cost of doing business) condiment and can really hurt your business. At this point, I don't even want to wish you good luck. Good riddance once you're gone.
