Los Primos Restaurant has become my go-to spot, and it's no surprise why I find myself there every week during my work lunch breaks. The moment I walk through the doors, I already know what entree I want and that is their sizzling fajitas. My favorite which is the fajitas mixta, in particular, is a true masterpiece. The combination of succulent grilled chicken, perfectly seasoned steak, and tender shrimp is a flavor... View all feedback.
I had the Pork Medallions that came with rice, black beans and grilled veggies. The medallions melt in your mouth literally and the wine sauce is superb. The grilled veggies included sweet potato slices which I have never liked, however I tried it and it was delicious. For me this is the best dish on the menu.
Best ceviche and pupusas I've had in the northern DC, Bethesda, Rockville area! Also great chicharones with yuca. Definitely not fancy decor, but clean. El Salvadorean food. Always a good sign when you go in and see people from the country eating there. My and my wife's new go to. And prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.
One of the few “Texmex” places in the area I hadn’t tried. I was definitely wowed by the presentation and cleanliness of the entire atmosphere upon arrival. The service was very good, friendly and fast, and when looking at the menu I found the prices very reasonable particularly for the steak entrees. Now normally I get a lomo saltado everywhere the first visit BUT the descriptions of the NY strip entrees just made it too hard to look over. Because of the atmosphere being so great I went against my better judgement from past experiences of ordering larger cuts of steak at a texmex place. Hoping this would be different.I ordered the NY strip, medium rare. When I got the steak it was very thin, like thin. Uncle Julio’s skirt steak is thicker than this “NY strip” sigh, it seemed broiled and was grey, not any pink in it. It was a huge letdown, flavor was there but wow no, shoulda stuck to carne asada.Civeche was ok, tacos were ok, heard the pupusas were good. In all honesty the atmosphere, decor, service, and presentation outshines the actual food in my opinion.Definitely a good place to eat for plenty of reasons! Just remember, if you’re a steak connoisseur don’t even think about ordering the NY strip entrees.
Food was good and owner was nice. Tortillas were not small and not enough for the fajitas, so you unfortunately have to order more (which only come as a set of 3).Salsa was outstanding, I'll be going back just for that.
Food was presented well but the flavor and quality was lacking. Over all a fun place but could use some improvement.Food: 2/5
