What Clayton Russell doesn't like about Lebtav:
The service was so poor. The server and the cashier were disrespectful. They placed my food in an unclean container. When I complained instead of apologizing they were telling me it was a minor contamination. The guys were rude to the core and possiblyracist. Black people think twice before you dine. For me it?s the last. I can do Persian instead View all feedback.
I was recently in town visiting family and came across this gem! The food was very authentic to traditional Lebanese food and everything was truly delicious and enjoyable. I highly recommend the appetizer combination and the chicken shawarma. They evenhad ice cold Almaza beer which is extremely hard to find in the states. Service was wonderful and the owner was very friendly.
Excellent lamb shawarma and extremely fast and friendly service. Very reasonably priced for the area. Highly recommended.
The employee at the counter was quite unfriendly, and when I received my platter, it was very disappointing. The flavors were odd (and not in a good way), and there was hardly any meat despite paying $32. The salad was soggy, and the restaurant was so brightly lit that it felt more like a surgical room. I’m not sure what’s gone wrong with Lebanese Taverna or why they changed their name to something as silly as Lebtav, but I definitely won’t be returning.
The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed our lunch here, just like we always do. The hummus was fantastic, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The garlic dip is the best as well! We'll definitely be back!
The service was disappointing. The server and cashier were disrespectful, and my food was served in a dirty container. When I raised my concerns, instead of apologizing, they downplayed it, saying it was just a minor issue. Their behavior was rude and unwelcoming, leaving me uncomfortable. I would advise other Black diners to think carefully before going here. As for me, I won’t be returning—I prefer to dine elsewhere, like at a Persian restaurant.
