First Watch - Rockville

I typically don't write reviews, but I'm feeling quite disappointed. I was in need of some soup since I was feeling under the weather, so I ordered a Bowl of Soup and a Kids Grilled Cheese. Unfortunately, the "bowl" was only half full—I received about half a measuring cup of soup for $6. It was extremely salty and tasted more like slightly diluted tomato paste. It felt like I got what was left at the bottom of the pot. On the bright side, the grilled cheese was well-cooked and quite good, although it too was on the saltier side for my taste. There were no complaints about the orange juice and fruit that came with the meal, though.

They forgot to provide utensils. The eggs were not cooked well. The French toast was dry.

The bacon was undercooked and the potatoes were burnt. This isn't the first time my order has arrived like this. I've decided to write a review this time because I've had enough. Your prices are too high to serve breakfast like this.

I usually love everything from First Watch. Today wasnt one of those days. The eggs were over cooked, the bacon was under cooked, the grits were not good, and I didnt receive my drink. I will give them another chance in the future, though.

I spent four hours there yesterday having breakfast with my best friend. The waiter was attentive and responsive. My friend really enjoyed the mushroom and roasted vegetable frittata, while I had the shrimp and grits, which I’m pleased to say was one of the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will be returning myself!
