The 1 stars I just read were all because they did not read that this place required reservations. This place is the most authentic Japanese sushi restaurant I was in my life. That was once again the most amazing experience. I'm so happy that I just have a house in Rockport and know that this place is near my house. Will recommend and come back! View all feedback.
What Sarah Rosenberg doesn't like about Sushi Luck Japanese Cuisine:
While I love the sushi and food, the wait for the food is sooooo long. We ordered Togo at 5pm and it wasn’t ready until 7:30. The husband drags his feet and takes so long to make the rolls while the wife is always on the go. I feel bad for her because he doesn’t help her at all and he is sometimes rude. The gyozas are my favorite and the only reason I return. View all feedback.
Authentic Japanese cuisine!! It's absolutely excellent. Such an intimate environment. The owners are so nice and show great hospitality. The sushi was made fresh right in front of us!! The food was so delicious! We will definitely come back.
We really enjoyed our family dinner here while we stayed in Rockport. It is not cheap for the area, but the food quality was great and the man/woman team made us welcome. We will definitely be back at our next visit.
Reservation required. This is a small, intimate place. The sushi cook manufactures every dish to order. Authentic, fresh and tasty. Start with hot or cold will or a plum wine. We ordered the edamame. It was a great starter. Many roles and sashimi to choose. Great for a date night. No need to dress up; It's okay.
Hands down the best sushi place we have been in years. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. It's in a little house and by reservation only but we will be going there once a month when we are in town.
Lucky lucky, sushi lucky! I regularly visit Rockport and I really wanted to try this cute little authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. I saw takoyaki on the menu and it took me back to my Tokyo days. Not many J restaurants in TX make takoyaki. I enjoyed these tasty octopus balls with the smoked fish flakes on top. I also ordered classic edamame; nicely seasoned and fresh. Spicy tuna roll and CA Dream. All was good, fresh rice, nicely rolled and prepared by a husband/wife duo. I ordered for pick up. I would love to go back and have some sashimi and potato croquettes for dine in some day.
