Anatolian Table - Rocklin
Anatolian Table
Description
Anatolian Table presents a mixed but largely positive dining experience, celebrated for its exceptional service, inviting ambiance, and beautifully presented dishes. Many patrons rave about the flavorful and well-seasoned meats, fresh appetizers, and standout desserts like baklava and rice pudding. The owner’s warm hospitality enhances the welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests find certain items—particularly the rice and some meats—disappointing and overpriced, with occasional concerns about portion sizes and seasoning. Despite these inconsistencies, the restaurant’s dedication to authentic Mediterranean flavors and attentive service keeps many coming back, making it a noteworthy spot for lovers of Turkish cuisine.

Wow, the food and service here are absolutely amazing! I came to have dinner alone and found Anatolian Table through a Google search. What a fantastic restaurant!
It's been a few years but it was better than I remembered. Each dish was beautifully displayed and served quickly. My chicken Kebab was very tender. The lamb was flavorful. The staff greeted us quickly and were prompt to attend to us. The chef prepared our meat choices to order with tasteful sides. Our experience was pleasant and we will be coming back soon. I recommend visiting at least twice to have the opportunity to try different menu items.
My first time at this Turkish establishment.Ordered: beef/lamb and spicy lamb wraps with knafeh. It was the blandest shawarma meat I've ever had. The seasoning was basically nonexistent and the pickled slaw was not complementary at all.The knafeh doesn't taste like homemade.Basically, I could've made all of these from trader Joe's (too bad trader Joe's discontinued the knafeh).I can't believe I paid almost $60 for these 3 items.I guess I can't expect authenticity from a shopping mall.Maybe the kebabs or fish or better.
Food is good, no question. Here is my comments1- waiters lacking experience on how to deal with customer2- I was fasting and she gave dates to other table and ignore give us dates3- I asked for bread and she ignored my request4- the have mentioned the restaurant closes at 8:30 and we arrived at 7:30z she didn’t clearly said when exactly they close. We felt we are in rush to finish eating5- value for money is sooooo unworthy. $100 paid for 2 persons6- the waiters nearly knows EnglishIndeed my first and last time.Update: since I can’t respond to the owner response.Indeed I was right about my review. Not sure who is not saying the truth and your lacking of professionalism of taking this topic personally. Let me set some facts1- your servant didn’t offer us date and she bring the other table dates without even asking2- we didn’t had bags with us at all3- assuming we have dates which is true) did she told you how many? at least she need to offer4- the food was good and you didn’t even thank me for giving you a positive feedback on that, instead started to defend yourself. Being a good chief doesn’t say anything about having leadership skills. Again, enough wasting my time on debating with someone who really believes one sided of the story because he don’t want to develop or improve his service. Good luck, Mr!
