We started with C... read more Stopped by for dinner with friends who live in Melbourne, FL while we're in town. We got there about 7:30 and caught the Super Moon coming up. We started with Conch Fritters and Cocktails. I got the Hawaiian River Orchid Martini, my friend got a Lemon Drop. For dinner I got grilled Mahi dock tacos with plantains. My husband got Blackened shrimp over linguini (daily special) and a bowl of clam chowder. The food and views were great. Our waitress Cara M was excellent.

We had the Shrimp Scampi and the Mahi Caribbean Bowl. Both meals were cooked with a perfect balance of seasoning and flavor combinations. The Mahi was particularly good; flaky and moist as it should be. The atmosphere was again perfect; just the right level of music lighting that it complimented the natural beauty of the water. Service was spot on! Drinks stayed filled, knew the menu and offered suggestions that fit what we were looking for.. such as the cheesecake for dessert: an excellent finishing touch to a fine meal.

Hostess I would suggest asking those who come to the outdoor area if they are aware that there’s an in indoor and an outdoor menu before sitting them down. I felt bad that I was seated where I could not have what I saw online and what I was hoping to eat Mya did offer to move me inside but that meant she would loose her table (she didn’t say that to me I have common sense as I have been a server) so I told her I would stay outside and she recommended me the special (Blackened Shrimp Scampi and pasta) and it was very delicious so I didn’t loose out on good food! BEWARE if you sit outside you can’t have the Shrimp and Grits only indoors. Silly!!!! Overall I would not give them less than 5 stars because I too own my own business and at times the owners need to hear the reviews to make the changes and grow. Overall food was good, sweet tea could have been sweeter, food was served quickly, waterfront was peaceful!!! I will be back…

After ordering drin... read more I have been here many times but this was a first for breakfast with a friend. When we arrived we were told to just pick a seat which we did. After ordering drinks, we started to talk and realized the music was just too loud to hear each other 9:30am on a Saturday does not need rock music or the BeeGees Stayin ' Alive at a level you cannot talk over. We asked the server again, and he said I didn 't touch the knob, some songs are just loud and other 's are soft. I wish we would have walked out right then. At that point we were the only ones in the place, and would it have killed him to turn it down a notch? The food was great. The server seemed annoyed. I heard another table asking that the music be turned down it never was. I think he forgot that a simple request like that from a customer should be easily accommodated. It seems that a nice place like River Rocks could change the music genre to something less invasive like AC/DC. This just left a bad experience in my mouth.
