Stopped by for dinner with friends who live in Melbourne, FL while we're in town. We got there about 7:30 and caught the Super Moon coming up. We started with Conch Fritters and Cocktails. What Mrs Lorena Barrera doesn't like about River Rocks:
The food was great. the staff was great. The only issue was that Thier I guess you would say banquet room,It had an awful moldy mildew smell. Other then that it was great. View all feedback.
Similar to my other experiences in river dining...it seems you're paying for the beautiful view because the food is below average pricey?
There are two restaurants. One with inside sitting and one with outside sitting. River rocks is the one with inside sitting.
The manager would not allow the outside menu after moving our party of 15+ out doors due to a meeting underway in the adjacent room. The outdoor bartender didn't seem happy when a couple of our friends ordered from her. I didn't see what difference it made, what or where we ordered.

I adored this place. We sat outside and had the seafood platter then moved over to sit by the river for some drinks. The server was amazing, very attentive and friendly! The views are lovely; the ocean breeze and live acoustic made for a lovely romantic setting. Mahi and shrimp was a bit over salted but was very juicy and not dried out, tasted like great quality. The menu for outdoor seating is a bit more light and casual than the menu for dining inside. Next time we will come back and try the inside menu.
