In Good Company - Rockland

The menu at this restaurant is too ambitious, with small and fussy appetizers that require ordering multiple dishes to share at the table. It would have been simpler to just charge for a larger serving size.

My wife and I have dined at In Good Company several times while on vacation in Rockport. This visit was the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable getaway.

I have reviewed nearly 400 dining establishments on Yelp from various locations around the world, and I have to say that this one ranks amongst the top 5 worst experiences I have ever had!

We stumbled upon In Good Company by chance one Friday afternoon between Christmas 2023 and New Year's. The menu and the building looked promising, although we had no expectations. We walked in at 4pm and were able to secure a reservation for 6:30. When we arrived, we were seated at our table and were pleasantly surprised by the impeccable service, the delicious food (with a variety of gluten-free options), the cozy atmosphere, and the lack of noise. We would love to frequent this restaurant more often, but unfortunately, it is a 3 1/2 hour drive from our home. If you find yourself in Rockland, ME, make sure to check out In Good Company.

The food and service were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and character of the restaurant. We are excited to return in the future.
