Mi Ranchito - Rockford

They are very rude to me every time I come here, absolutely no customer service. they're lucky that eating is good because otherwise I wouldn't return. they are in the kitchen talking with a good time and giggling, but they come with a straight face into the register. they told me 20 minutes and it's up to now 45 (I'm still waiting) even if I order for grubhub, the order is always wrong.

Our waitress was very kind but unfortunately the food wasn’t our favorite. If you like more bland food then this is the place for you but we definitely like more flavor especially when it comes to this type of food. My chicken taco salad was tortilla chips, plain chicken, tomatoes, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce. There weren’t any sauces or flavor. Good for some people, but not my taste personally. We weren’t in favor of the salsa either.

I used to rave about this place with their homemade tortillas and great food. But upon my last visit, I can guarantee I won 't be back. I used their website to get a price estimate and order idea. Their tacos being priced at $1.99 a piece, I placed an order for 12, believing my total to be around $24+ tax. After I arrived to pick up my tacos, I added on some rice, beans and 2 jarritos. My total came to $61. I said there 's no way, and the gal had me read back what I ordered. She said yeah, you got 12 tacos.. I replied, they 're only $1.99 a piece, how does that add up to $60? She says They 're 3.99 a piece now, they haven 't updated the website yet. So I pay for my food and get driving. After looking in the bag, I noticed the refried beans had seeped out of their styrofoam folding container, as they had not put them in anything that seals shut. It had spilled on everything. Wasting a majority of the beans and coating everything else. They also only put 9 of the 12 tacos in our order, so we also had to return for a refund of the 3 missing. I had such high hopes for this place and I left upset, angry and disappointed. 2 's is being generous.

I got a burrito n it barely had any meat at all. I asked for extra sour cream on the side. Never got it. Also, didn’t have sour cream inside like she told me it would. All I could even taste was the pound of unseasoned beans and rice they put in it. Worst place to get food in Rockford. Only nice thing I can say is the people were nice.

Online pricing says 1.99 for tacos, however they are 3.99 each. A little taco. 3.99? Taco was kind of dry. That was very disappointing since I had seen such good reviews on them. Says inside the burritos are 6.99. Kind of hard to believe if one taco costs 3.99. Just beware of the price online versus what is posted inside. Very different. Will not be back.
