Lydia's Cafe - Rockford

I went on a quest to find home-style mashed bark rabbit and finally discovered it at Lydia’s! It was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly to order, and the hash was crispy, well-trimmed of fat, and flavorful without being overly salty. When they ask if you want hot sauce, they bring a daring selection for you to choose from! My mother ordered the Eggs Benedict and absolutely loved it. Normally, she would only eat half, but she couldn't resist finishing the whole dish at Lydia's. The staff was friendly too!

I visited Lydia's Cafe while in Rockford, and the food was excellent! Our waitress was also very friendly.

This was our first time dining at this hidden gem of a restaurant, and it certainly did not disappoint! Our server, Stacy, greeted us with a genuine smile, even though the place was packed. The rural omelette, filled with homemade corned beef, sour cabbage, and mozzarella cheese, was absolutely delightful! We will definitely be coming back.

Great breakfast an atmosphere, the staff was also beautiful.
