This unexpected little spot, situated in what appears to be a rather rough neighborhood, is undoubtedly the best hot dog place I've ever visited. The hot dogs are cooked to perfection, looking almost ready for a photoshoot. The gyro is stunning, served on wonderfully fresh pita bread. Even the fries are cooked flawlessly. The chef is a true artist who strives to deliver the absolute best quality in every dish. View all feedback.

It is a shame that 0 stars is not a option. Ordered a large polish (PLAIN). What i got was a fully loaded with all kinds of junk I did not order not want. Lunch wasted, no time to go get anything else but hey i guess its ok cuz they refunded me. Smh View all feedback.
I love this little key place. it has the best hot dogs and polishes in rockford. I asked for no tomato, but I decided to try it as they added it anyway and it was not bad that they added a refreshing taste.
Luichi’s Hot Dogs doesn’t skimp on the cheese sauce and their food is pretty tasty.
Italian(cheesy) beef was excellent , great amount of meat and LOTS of cheese , more than anywhere else in town at about the same price. Fries were good, mozz sticks bigger and better than all the others in town at the same price or cheaper. Only thing that wouldve made it better is some au jus sauce because the sandwich couldve been juicer (IMHO). They have a huge menu , prepared my food fresh AND fast and were VERY nice. Will definitely be back!
Luichis is an iconic Rockford spot for Chicago dogs, hamburgers, etc. Affordable food made to order. Get a shake with your food!
Last minute decision to stop here and venture outside the comfort zone…so I ordered two meals. I ordered One Patty Melt One Gyro Meal. I initially stopped there because I seen the sign for the gyros. Instantly I was craving the cucumber sauce. I was highly disappointed to find out my Gyro which was supposed to have everything on it…onions and tomatoes…and NO Cucumber Sauce!!! I had to eat a DRY Gyro. I could not believe there was no sauce on my Gyro. The onions were dry and thin and tomatoes were about the same. The only thing that saved it was the lamb meat (generous amount) Pita bread. I am not sure how the Patty Melt was because it wasn’t for me. The french fries were decent but no salt. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. I did tell her it was my first time there. Also the outdoor Patio was very inviting. The plants and flowers around the patio and building gave it a cozy feel. I would have given four stars if my food would’ve come as it should have.
