First time trying Nepalese food and won't be the last! This little restaurant in Rockdale is a surprise as was the food and service. A great little restaurant with authentic food. I went with some friends from Nepal which made the experience even better. Got to try it! View all feedback.

What a interesting meal. Ordered Lamb choyela. It had these rice flakes in our meal instead of rice. It's tastes ok but prefer rice. The vege Thalia was smaller than expected, just 2 curries. One tasted funny and the other didn't have much taste Fried momos, some were hot,sum were just warm but standard stuff Both dishes were small in size Food took a while to come out and prices are reasonable. Worst service ever (only us in the whole place, I can see why the place is empty)... Staff told me they were busy????? Was our FIRST AND LAST BUS TO KATMANDU
It took over an hour for the takeaway to be cooked. it was only 3 meals and some Nan breads. So if you are in a hurry then this is not the place for you. The food was tasty but the sauces where very thin. I'm on holiday here so I not sure if this was the norm, and I won't get a chance to find out.
The first thing about this one is the stark decor, like walking into a 1975 diner. Vinyl tablecloths, older seating. But the service is welcoming, and the wait staff very obliging. It’s BYO the lot, beer, wine, spirits except soft drink. Food is intriguing! Goat isn’t an Australian staple, so worth trying as our culture shifts. The samosa smash is simply amazing, and the butter chicken as good as any I’ve ever eaten. But other dishes were interesting, even disturbing at times. Don’t be shy and give this little one a crack. Cheap eats with great hosts Enjoy
From Gorakhpur to Kathmandu by road is 390 k.m. out of this 80 k.m. road is wash out. 100 k.m. road is bumpy. 100 k.m. road is ok and rest is very good. Due to road construction Nepal traffic police stop all traffic after Narainghat from 12 to 4 p.m. so cross Narainghat before 12 noon, otherwise you have to wait for 4 hours at Narainghat. Before Kathmandu 10 k.m. road is completely wash out and 15 k.m. is very bumpy with heavy traffic jam. At India Nepal border so many agents are available for assisting to clear your vehicle papers. For this they charge Rs 100 to 200. Nepal government charge Rs 300 per day for your small car or SUV. RTO rate is Rs 650 one time per visit. All paper works complete in half hour. You don't have to change your number plate.
Went to Last Bus for a work function. I have been here before and enjoyed the food. You can’t go wrong here. Would have been 20 of us and left the decisions to the staff. Had a great meal. Good mix of Nepalese food and good service. Only a couple of staff, but they handled it well. Will be back!!
