Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Rochester

I've never given a one star before, but I was extremely disappointed with the way the drive thru staff behaved. We tried reaching out to management about our concerns to be met with no response. Avoid this place if you can!

Accidentally ordered from the wrong location but was only 5 minutes further of a commute from work so didn't cancel... wish I had and ordered from my regular TSC because this was awful. Ordered a smoothie/wrap combo and there was an issue with every single item. First, the kale apple slaw had about 3 pieces of kale in the entire side dish and was bone dry. The smoothie (Detox Island Green) was extremely watery and had no added whey protein which I paid extra for. The whey has a pretty distinctive taste so you're 100% able to tell when it's been added to a smoothie. Finally, went to eat my wrap (Hummus Veggie) and it's soaked with some sort of taco/hot sauce making it practically inedible. I can't tell you what the sauce was exactly but I can tell you that it doesn't belong on the Hummus Veggie as this is the only item I've been ordering for over 5 years. Extremely disappointed because I've wasted my lunch to drive and pay over $15 for a lunch that I can't even eat.

Terrible customer service. If an employee is that unhappy to where they are completely snarky and flat out rude in the drive thru why wouldn’t management step in and pull them from the drive thru? after being treated so poorly why would I trust that employee with my order? While I typically recommend Tropical Smoothie, I Strongly recommend avoiding this location.

It’s rare that I leave a 1-Star review but I know how good other TSC locations are and this one is brutal. Walked up to the counter to order, wasn’t greeted by anyone for almost 5 mins as they made drive thru orders. I asked if they’re taking orders at the counter too and one guy just dismissively said “yeah” without even looking at me and then proceeded to ignore me. I just decided to leave. The location also appeared to be dirty inside as well.

Oh man, love the food but honestly I don't really want to come here anymore because the customer service is consistantly terrible. I can only assume the girls that work here hate their jobs because they certainly act/sound like they don't want to be there and I'm inconveniencing them over a $9 sandwich. It's getting pretty old.
