Expectations for this place is high and was not matched with the service or the food. Nothing bad per se, but one main server covering the entire outside area is way thin for a high end restaurant. Food was ok, but again you want more. We had the seafood chowder for an appetizer and it was good. But there was no bread available, really? For a main course I had the cioppino and it was rather bland. My wife had an eggplant dish and, again, it was ok. Over, to me, not worth the hype or price.

The front end female manager had rearranged seating for us due to our occasion and gave us a glass of celebratory bubbly!!!! I wish I got her name but she was INCREDIBLE!! So, so sweet. Our waiter was also so nice and attentive. Could not recommend this restaurant more!

Small seasonal menu which showed the focus of the food. Everything was amazing. As good as I've hadanywhere in New York City. The price was comparable for a nice dinner out anywhere so an amazing value. Definitely a new go toplace for impressing guests or special occasions
