The food was good don’t get me wrong, but the experience for my first time going on a special day was poor. From the valet giving me attitude before even getting into my car because I didn’t instantly give a tip, to nothing being offered to make my experience better when I was chewing on literal steel wool in my food (confirmed by my waiter and he took it away before I could get a picture) and then both tables to my side waiting 20 mins for the check and in one instance getting the check wrong at least 4 times. We had 8pm reservations and were not seated until 8:30. I wish my experience was better but I was very disappointed and I will not be back. My man only ate because he was driving for 6 hours straight and i only ate the chicken on top of my plate.. the pasta had no flavor.. i honestly make better pasta than this place. SAVE YOUR MONEY or come give it to me. I’m appalled. The waiters were polite, nothing more just polite. Not much of an experience.

The owner will c... read more Been going to Nanni's over 20yrs, never had any issues. The food quality is superb. The service is superb. The bartender, Robert, is fantastic. The owner will cook you a dish himself if he has time, over and beyond accommodating. The fact that they have valet parking (hardly any place does anymore in Bergen Cty) is a huge plus and shows that the place has class and respect for fine dining! The food is always fresh and comes out to perfection. They have music every now and then on Friday's and Saturdays! It get's packed so make a reservation if you plan to go on a night with music. But trust me, it is worth it! You must try out Nanni's if you haven't. You will not be let down. Manny, your restaurant is over 30+ years in business and still going after Covid! That says a-lot, by itself!
