The afternoon tea was deli... read more We had a wonderful time celebrating St. George's Day at The Cedar Tree. It was a family get together and everyone enjoyed themselves. The afternoon tea was delicious and served in a traditional English style. Rachel went out of her way to accommodate a gluten-free meal for a family member, which was exceptional given the traditional nature of the event. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially when the vintage singer performed and everyone joined in the St. George's Day celebrations by singing, waving flags, and dancing. Rachel and her team were very attentive throughout the day, providing excellent table and bar service. I highly recommend this place for special events, as the effort put into ensuring everyone has a great time is unmatched.

The service, from our initial inquiry to the actual event, was excellent. The evening itself was fantastic, with the friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed and more. We opted for the hot and cold buffet, which was delicious and great value. Whether you're looking for a quiet drink, a meal, or a full celebration, I highly recommend The Cedar Tree. Thank you for providing us with such a top-notch experience.

It is hard to find anything new to say about this amazing pub that hasn't already been said. Last night, three couples dined inside and were blown away by the amazing food. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, especially Rachel, who made us feel extremely welcome. I have already recommended this place to my family and friends. The food is top-notch and I can't wait to visit again.

The homemade cheese and onion pie was lovely, my hubby had a Sunday roast which looked and tasted great

I have since visited another two times and on every occasion, the food has been incredible and the service lovely. I even went back to pick up the leftovers that I’d forgotten because the food was that good! You will not be disappointed
