I ordered a tuna and mayonnaise sandwich with a cup of coffee at this restaurant. The sandwich was delicious, although a bit expensive for what it was. The coffee was also very good. The staff were friendly and efficient, working in a spacious and bustling dining area. View all feedback.
What WhatNoBiscuits doesn't like about Seasons:
We have been to the Seasons several times over the past couple of years and it has been fine. This time it was poor. I had a prawn sandwich and chips.. for the price you pay you should expect decent bread not some dry thin sliced cheap bread. No butter and a few prawns. The jacket potato was not a lot better, overcooked and burnt. Cheap chips ... overall very poor. Drinks were fine. View all feedback.
We have been to this café several times. The hot dishes are better than the sandwiches, which were a bit dry. What surprised me the most was the lack of accommodation for elderly guests we brought with us on two occasions. One was a woman recovering from surgery who couldn't eat much, and the other was an elderly man who had difficulty eating. When we asked if we could order a smaller portion for them, we were told they only offer children's portions for children and wouldn't make an exception. Instead, we were told to order a full meal and leave half. This lack of flexibility and consideration makes me hesitant to return.
I have visited this restaurant many times over the years, but I am disappointed to say that this will likely be my last visit. The quality of the food and service has been declining, while the prices have been increasing.

My mother in law used to enjoy going here for her lunch, and since she passed away 3 years ago, my husband and I have met with her sisters on her birthday, for lunch. Never again. We ordered Soup A Sandwich £6.99) for 2 of the group. The 'Cream of Vegetable ' soup was bland and could only be improved by the addition of a large amount of salt. The Cheese Pickle sandwich was on bread which seemed to have been dried out. We asked for drinks to be brought with the meals as we have found in the past that drinks are brought well in advance of the food. THIS time, we were almost at the end of our meal when the drinks came. No apology. Food is overpriced and poor quality in my experience will be looking for somewhere else in future.
