Assuming that I was in this farm on Easter day, definitely special day for the service, I still think that a restaurateur should accept a number of bookings that can manage. The first were served at 14.30 after two hours of waiting, more than a lunch was a stillicide. Too bad because the kitchen is genuine and very kind staff. I hope that my (experience is attributable to a misguided day, otherwise you would not explain the many positive reviews of this farm. Lunch of Pasquetta in five: the menu provided two appetizers (appetizer of the house that did not just see... and fried dumpling with grilled meat mixed . After savoring the fried dumpling with the meats that consisted of a fried dumpling per person and DUE slices of cup, bacon and salami a head the waitress told us that, out of menu, were also available the first. In view of the exigity of the appetizers we decided to take also four plates of tagliatelle and a cresquilla. When the first came, I would not have wanted to believe in my eyes: the tagliatelle in portion absolutely poor were clearly heated, dating back to the day before (as well as bread, of the rest... . The grill was not so much better, since it arrived at the lukewarm and stopposa table, since it probably had been removed from the grill for too long. We did not even save the account since for two adults and three children we spent 135 euros and that the children were applied the price by adults (which in the other farms of the area is never done. At the time of welding, another surprise: the POS was out of use and it is touched to arrange with cash. Even worse final: we were about to head to the car and what is probably the father of the owner, he asked us how lunch went. Educatedly we pointed out that serving the warmed pasta of the day before is not the maximum and he answered us piccato, saying that the first were not expected (but then why the hell did you propose them??? . In accordance with our objection to the bread, the Lord replied that they are not sure to buy it at the supermarket (sinking that the baker of Retorbido, 7 minutes away by car, was regularly open. Ultimately, two stars for the courtesy of the owner, but all the rest, from food to service, would be from scratch. We just felt teased. To be avoided carefully.,

Valeria has proposed a menu according to the criteria of the hospitality typical of the farm but more elaborate and consonant at the party we were celebrating. Bravo
We went to this restaurant on the occasion of the party we booked in advance and at 12.30 we were sitting waiting for lunch. At 14.15 we rose desperately after eating an appetizer...1 fried dumpling to head two slices of raw salami, two cooked and two cups to head, a cold polenta medal covered with gorzonzola and a transparent slice of not know what pig, we jumped the first and took the second the sheet also reported various menus of meat but for today only fixed menu I paid alibi for what I spent....eating badly and not angry for the bad service two hours for appetizer and second...forget on the second floor where occasionally they remembered us apologising for the wait..... We went out very angry and with us other people who thought it exactly like us!!!! If you don't have any staff don't take so many reservations....you would avoid negative reviews
We had never been to the Cà du Re, but the reviews were good, a quiet place in the hills of the Oltrepò, we trusted Tripadvisor and booked Christmas lunch... and I must say that we are happy with the choice made. The place is located in a small village close to the hill, the interior is very pleasant and atmosphere, the dining area is divided into (if not mistaken) 5 rooms, all to see. Welcome from 10 and praise, here you do in four to make you feel comfortable, and they manage pretty well. We ate very well, based on local cuisine, brought to a good level, excellent flavors, excellent quality, in the end before leaving we all complimented the cook.
Good location on the hills of the afterlife, where it is not difficult to get. Kitchen especially of the good and not too elaborate territory. Prices in line with premises of this type, the expense is around 30 euros. Nice and efficient the lady (I believe the owner) who served us.
