I don't usually stray from my usual favorites of burgers and Mexican food, but my son was eager to revisit one of our old local spots. I'll start with the negatives: I ordered the BBQ Sandwich Lunch Special, but the BBQ tasted like it came from a tub, reminiscent of instant mashed potatoes, and the baked beans were clearly canned. Menu is easy, the smiles are plenty, the ladies all are hard working. The lunch specials are daily, home cooked, like most diners use to be, and very filling. Food is really good, you will not be diappointed.
Food is great, affordable and love the authentic diner feel.
