Gedneys Grill - Roanoke

We just left Gedneys 10 minutes ago. We usually have really good food but not this time. It took over an hour to get our food, yet others who were set down after us...a long time after us and they got their food... ate it... and left way before we did. I ordered a catfish filet plate. The fish looked burned. And what I did try had no taste. My husband ordered the same. His wasn't burnt looking but the fish had no taste. One person with us ordered the skipper platter. It was cold. The seafood and catfish had no taste except for the oil it was cooked in. My husband was upset because the ticket was $103. And it was basically inedible. At least the fried green tomatoes were good as well as the fried mushrooms. And after we feed the fish to the cat we'll let you know how that goes.

We stopped in after a baseball game. The food was great. The customer service was quick and our server was patient with us knowing it was our first time. The pricing was very reasonable and the portions were very filling. Definitely check out their specials! We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Great resturant family owned and the steaks are great. They have a 5.00 chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream that feeds 4 or 5 people.

Decided to try here because I needed a bathroom stop. This place is a all you can eat with vegetables and salad. But if it's meat, it's one round an additional price for more limited selection. I picked the spicy tenders. Nice. Place. But the food didn't suit me very well. The mashed potatoes were instant. I should have went to publix's and got a to go meal.

They have the Best Food. I go there for lunch and it is always fresh and delicious. I've never been disappointed and I go there a LOT! Vegetarian options: They have 8-10 vegetables every day for lunch and they are awesome.
