Gedney's - Roanoke

My family and I love Gedneys. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly. The catfish is incredible, and the kids get the same amazing catfish in their meals. Our experience exceeded our expectations. May the Lord Jesus bless you all!

After spending an entire day attending funeral services my husband and I were starving. We stopped here and recieved great service. The appetizer and salads were great. We were a little less impressed with our steaks, mostly because they came out less than warm, but overall our experience was great!

I enjoyed the catfish with fried okra and green beans, while my wife had the chicken-fried steak with gravy. Everything was really delicious!

Repent for a week in Florida and experienced our best meal in Roanoke AL! Lots of cars in the game and stopped for lunch. I had land fried steak, okra, sweet potato, Mac n cheese, my wife had Catfish n a little of everything else. Everything was great! Cornbread and Peach Cobbler was good as Grandma used to do. This is a must for lunch when you're close. Better than Irondale Café or Niki's West and that says a lot.

Awesome, friendly service was impeccable!! our server was outstanding the owner was very friendly walking around checking on everyone. The strawberry fried cheese cake is off the chain!!! We will be back!!
