Probably not my very FAVORITE Italian eatery but, that's only because there are so many choices in Roanoke when it comes to Italian places. That being said, the food here is great! I love the Chicken Calzone View all feedback.
What Gillian Kshlerin doesn't like about Franks Italian Restaurant:
Not that great...ordered from Frank's a few times...pizza and wings okay, subs are bland with no seasoning (steak and cheese) and entrée's are plain and chicken parm was dry. They also charge a 10% gratuity for deliver which really adds up on an order for 4 people. New York Pizza is still the best in town and worth the drive to Vinton! View all feedback.
I have always gotten a good amount of food for the price Frank's in the past. Just ordered takeout and when I got home realized that they are looking at a $11 salad a different way. I am not pleased and will probably not return.
After a long drive, Frank’s hooked us up with phenomenal meatball and chicken parm subs. The ladies were so helpful and super friendly. An absolutely perfect experience in every aspect. Delicious food, clean establishment and friendly staff — why go anywhere else????
I will never eat there again. The food on the buffet was not good. Not enough variety. The salad bar, if you want to call it that, was so small. Not enough variety. The waitress only came to me one time. Sorry service. It has been a few weeks ago, when I was there. You all need to shut down. Cicis pizza is way better than you all.

Stopped there for lunch after Zoo with my 5 grandkids, all enjoyed the Buffet.
