El Rio Méxican Grill - Roanoke

Drinks were good, food below average. I think at any local chain Mexican restaurant, you have to have realistic expectations, but this wasn't good regardless. The food was just plain salty with very little other flavor. Had a friendly waiter, but the salsa and chips were probably the highlight of the meal. I am realistic, but definitely expect more than this.

I brought my wife out to eat here, place was fast and the food was great. Tattooed gentlemen, it was super friendly for both of us. Great place to go back to. Thank you, Adam.

My wife and I use to love ordering and dining in at El Rio but the last month it's been constantly wrong orders back to back. We pretty much get the same thing because it's really good, but they give us wrong items order after order. A few times they forgot parts of the order entirely. I don't know what changed but man it sucks.

Ordered on postmates. Very disappointed as my entree was left out now I have nothing to eat. Do better. It’s not difficult to make sure there are all the items in a bag. EDIT: they fixed the issue. Owner is kind understanding. Thank you for your help.

Great taste, huge portions. Timely service, beautiful atmosphere. Had Jarritos Menu prices not different from actual prices due to inflation.
