My husband and I were on our way to Tennessee, we stopped by to get take out. We ate in our car because we had our dog with us. My husband went in to get our brisket and they gave us a bone for our dog! How nice was that!!! Rocky was happy! And the food was amazing! We had a fun and great experience! View all feedback.
What Tosha Dockery doesn't like about Due South Bbq:
It was absolutely disgusting. Don't go here if you expect a nice sit-down experience. You have to walk to the counter to order your food, and you must bus your own plates afterwards. My brisket didn't even taste like brisket. If i knew how to get rid of the charge on my card, I'd definitely do it. View all feedback.
I had the full rack ribs and smoke potato .. ribs r so juicy and tender .. and OMG the smoke potato is a bomb .. I love it worth every penny I spent ..
I had ribs, Mac n cheese, sweet potato casserole, banana pudding, and hush puppies delivered. Everything ordered came out perfect and the meat from my ribs were falling off the bone. Definitely recommend!
Good bbq! Both the brisket pulled hog was delicious! Mac cheese was good...and the nanner puddin was the cherry on top!

We ate at Due South in Roanoke for lunch today, and after all the times we have been there for great food, this time was severely disappointing. For $27 we got two sandwiches, one side, one 50 cent container of slaw, and two small drinks. The barbeque was overly salted and in large chunks. One sandwich had probably over an ounce of plain fat you could hold it up in a 6 inch strand. To get much flavor besides salt you had to add a lot of sauce. We were so sad, as this used to be one of our favorite places especially for family sized containers when we had company. Then we were asked our opinion on a new sandwich they are promoting. Ugh too big, too much meat, and would probably cost $15 or more by itself! No more.
