Not only was my sandwich F’ing AMAZING… but the blonde cashier who graciously dealt with my 20+ questions was absolutely stunning lovely so, yeah ? high likelihood I’m never coming here again, ya know? ?? Vegetarian options: WONDERFUL veggie selection here ? the massive pig on the giant sign out front is there to distract all of those horrible meateaters. Running a great show here ??
A small Bbq restaurant. Had the pulled pork, was disappointed to see it was plain, cooked down pork then shredded and bbq sauces in squeeze bottles provided to put into the pulled pork. I had expected a very tasty southern type Bbq. Not impressed at all.
We come to the area most summers and we just happen to notice Highlander when driving by on our way to Roan Mountain State Park and decided to stop for dinner on the way back. We all were glad we did. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were awesome. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
